Karen Andrew (Accompanist)
BS in Fashion Merchandising, Brigham Young Univ. & studied piano & accompanying; accompanied in Montana, Michigan, Vermont & Ohio; church musician.

Damian Boyd (Trombone and Brass, Stage Band)
Jazz studies & Music Theory at Toledo University & OSU/Columbus; studied with Dick JOhnson, James Masters and James Ducci; taught in Columbus, Springfield and Mansfield.

Halle Piper Brook (Violin)

Began violin with Elva Newdome in Mansfield at age 5; further studied in high school with Dr. Marya Giesy in Delaware, OH and Micheal Davis, Professor of Violin at Ohio State University and Concertmaster of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra; attended numerous musical camps throughout Ohio. Receieved a scholarship to any college in the state through participating in the National Federation of Music Clubs for 12 years. Attended Ohio University majoring in Violin performance under Professor Howard Beebe.

Josh Cole (Piano, Audio Recording, Beginning Guitar)
BA in Commercial Music Technology with piano, Malone College; minister of music; interned in Nashville

Marianne Cooper
(Founder/Executive Director, choral & voice)
MM and PhD work in Educational Administration at Bowling Green State University; BS Music Education, OSU; studied at Tanglewood with Bernstein, Copland, Ross & Munch; toured nationally with Norman Luboff Choir; appeared in music theatre, opera & oratorio in a 3 state area; Emeritus Associate Professor of Music at OSU; Kindermusik certified.

Bob Cox (Guitar, Banjo)

Professional musician for nearly 40 years; active recording and performing artist. Adjunct Professor of Guitar and Coordinator of guitar at Kenyon College; guitar at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University.

David Dillow (Dance)

Originally from Columbus, OH and was intorduced to dance at age 14 with is high school show choir. Attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where he received a BFA in Modern Dance Performance. Has danced for recording artists Nick Cannon, Jesse McCartney and Raven Symone; studied with amnu companies, including Rock Steady Crew, F.I.V.E. Productions, International Ballet Company, Mop Top Productions, Garden State Dance Festival and Brian Sanders' JUNK; fashion designer for Dillz Fashion; currently dances with MOMIX both nationally and internationally.

Jennifer Donley (Visual Arts)
BFA Graphic Design/Illustration Emphasis from Ohio University.  Has been a Graphic Designer for Ashland University, Freelance artist with Abbott Laboratories, and Creative Director at the Mansfield News Journal.

Shirley Fearn (Gallery Coordinator, Visual Arts)
A working artist in the community; active at the Mansfield Arts Center.

Gary Fossaceca (Banjo)
Private banjo teacher - 7 years; Founding member of the bluegrass band Faces Made for Radio; 1999-2006 Augusta Heritage Center, Bluegrass Music Week, Elkins, WV; Special agent for the Ohio Bureau Criminal Identification/Investigation.

Michele S. Gorman (Dance Department Chair)
BS Education, OSU; graduate work in education, OSU; Ethyl Battin Dance Academy and Ballet West, University of Utah. Multi-subject elementary teacher since 1975. Ballet instructor since 1972. Academy Board of Trustees.

Craig Green (Voice & Piano)

BA in Voice and BS in Music Education from OSU. Extensive performance experience in Mansfield area, including the Renaissance Theatre, Mansfield Playhouse, OSU Theatre and Richland Academy. Choral Director at Madison Comprehensive High School and St. Timothy's Lutheran Church.

Sarah Horrigan-Ramos (Dance & Theatre)
Fordham University & Alvin Ailey School of Dance studying ballet and modern-Horton and Graham technique. Danced under Paul Taylor, Pascal Rioult and Alvin Ailey. Extensive NYC dance experience and training.

Sheri Hughes (Director of Facilities)
Lucas Village Council (Personnel Committee Chair); HR work at Crane; attended OSU-Mansfield.

David Kalish (Business Manager)

BS in Finance, Franklin University, Associates Degree in Computer Programming, NCTC. Previous work in private and non-profit organization fields include Director of Information Systems and Facilities, Director of Finance and Administration, Financial Consultant, Accounting Manager, Controller and Financial Analyst.

Dakota Maxwell (Bass Guitar)

Active musician who has played in numerous bands; competed in 2 guitar competitions placing 2nd and 1st; competed in Battle of the Bands at Metronome Music placing 3rd; studied guitar and bass for 7 years. 2010 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School; currently attending North Central State College studying nursing.

Harvey McGowan (Bagpipe Band)
Pipe Major for the Royal Scottish Highlanders; Bandmaster of the Salvation Army Band.  BS Thiel University.  Music teacher for over 30 years.

Fred McKinney (Storytailors)

He and the members of the group perform stories, songs, poetry and prose at monthly meetings and frequently for area events.

BA Honorary Degree, University of East Anglia; guitar studies with J. Jezewski, Cambridge University Society, and private studies with Andres Segovia.

Pat Olson (Visual Arts)

Marden Ramos (Artistic Director of rade, Ballet Master, Pilates and Salsa)
Principal dancer of the Cuban Ballet de Camaguey at age 15, Principal dancer of National Ballet of Mexico for 2 years, Prinicpal dancer of Elisa Monte Dance Co. for 10 years, Spanish Increpacion Dance Theatre and the David Campos Ballet Company. Has taught in many studios around the world, Wright State University and Ohio State University.

Meg Rietschlin (Flute, Flute Choir)

Graduate of University of Alabama-Birmingham, BSBA Economics; manages own business-financial & administration; Ashland Community band, Faculty Trio.

Laura Schupbach(Choir, Voice, Musical Theatre)

Currently employed as the music, band and choral teacher at Mifflin Elementary; graduate of Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music with BA in Music Education; spent a semester in Vienna, Austria studying with opera singer Althea-Maria Papoulias; winner of the 2009 Baldwin-Wallace Concerto Compettion, and has soloed with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic, Akron and Baldwin-Wallace Symphony Orchestras; has done extensive work in musical theatre and dance, both in community and

semi-professional theatres in Northeast Ohio.

Jewelry management for 12 years; sewing & costume design.

Joan Secrest (Dance)
Graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester, NY, majoring in bus. & soc.; worked in Soc. Ser. Dept. of Rochester General & Genesee Hospital; assistant & partner in the Marjorie Miller School of Dance; Shaker Heights Invitational Dance classes at Alcazor Hotel; 1955 in Mansfield, started dance classes in ballet, pointe, tap & jazz at YM-YMCA for 17 years; choreographed for Town roast, Starlight Revue & OSU-M music theatre & choirs; teaches 60+ tap class at RA for 64-78 yr. olds.

Jim Smith (Drums & Percussion)

Performing extensively with Tony Calamello Orch., Percy Hall Orch., Dick Robins Band, Dave Vaas Quartet & Luis Mendez Quartet; Performed with Mansfield Symphony; traveled with bands throughout Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and a USO Tour to Greenland.

Attended OSU-Mansfield; Past President of Mansfield Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary; member of Kiwanis of Mansfield.

Anne-Marie Trohanovsky (Piano, Voice)
BME and MA in Bilingual Education, University of Maine at Orono; Master’s thesis based on Acadian Folk Songs published; member of Mansfield Symphony Chorus; Richland Academy Faculty Trio; Academy Singers; Adult Opera Theatre; current member of NATS (National Assoc. of Teachers of Singing, Inc.); participated in student/faculty recitals and concerts at Richland Academy and Baldwin-Wallace College; extensive private teaching in Ohio, Maine and California.

Caroline Wadsworth (Tai Chi for Arthritis)BS in Education from OSU; attended Albion College and Michigan State University; studied under Tai Chi Master InstructorJan Van Schelt in 2005; teaches at MedCentral Health and Fitness Club.

Receptionist and billing in the medical profession for many years; piano accompanist at church and school.

BA in dance and psychology from Muhlenberg; danced in and choreographed for several American College Dance Festival celebrations, including dancing in the National Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.; danced professionally with the Shelley Oliver Tap Dancers, The Engineers, What's On Tap, and most recently as Ernie and Baby Bear/Understudy on national and onternational tours of Sesame Street Live.

Secretary for Mansfield City Schools for 32 years- retired. Team Captain and Committee Member for Relay for Life.
