Acrylic Painting Class

An intensive acrylic painting class for the aspiring painter. Students will laarn various brush techniques as well as the palette knife while they explore the wide range of possibilities with this medium. Students will be responsible for their own supplies. Ages 16+

Different Strokes - Advanced Art Class for Adults

Here is an art class for the working artist. Instruction will be provided in various mediums and techniques. Students are expected to explore their personal style while still focusing on the basics of drawing and painting. Class is three hours so bring your lunch and get ready to create!

Sept. 24 Art in Action! 11-2

From splatter paint to 'water" balloons kids will enjoy the action behind the artwork. Leave the mess to us...parents won't want to try this at home!

Oct. 8 Animal Masks 11-2

Kids can dress up as their favorite animal this year once they make these wonderfully creative masks. We will be using traditional African masks for inspiration.

Nov. 19 Fall Mosaics 11-2

Rock, paper, scissors! Kids will create art in the mosaic style using rocks, paper and scissors!

Dec. 17 Christmas Gift Giving 11-2

Students will be making Holiday gifts, wrapping paper and all! Each student will leave with at least 3 hand made presents to share.

Jan. 21 Shoe Art 11-2

Creative art ideas are right under your feet.

Feb. 11 Valentine Party 11-2

We love the heARTS Valentine party for kids to help celebrate 20 years of Richland Academy.

Mar. 24 Baskets 11-2

Create your own coiled cloth basket for Easter.

April 14 Recylables 11-2

Using recycled plastic, kids will create "glass-like" sculptures.

May 12 Fabric Art 11-2

Batiking and tye dying - the possibilitiees are endless!

$25 each or all 9 for $200 - Includes at least one project to take home and lunch.

All classes are 11am-2pm and include lunch.
