Joann Jeffries

Joann teaches clarinet, saxophone, and piano.  She has a B.M. in Clarinet Pedagogy from Heidelberg College, and a M.M. in Clarinet Pedagogy with an emphasis in Woodwind Specialty from Kent State University. Joann played in the Heidelberg Orchestra, Kent State Wind Ensemble and Kent State University Orchestra and Concert Band.  She spent years teaching lessons in Northeast Ohio.  Along with performing freelance, she has played professionally with the Cleveland Opera Circle and The Tuscarawas Philharmonic. 

Joann is proficient in piano and voice, and is trained in Vocal Pedagogy.  She has performed vocally with the Heidelberg Community Chorus, and for many weddings and church services. 

Joann lives in Bucyrus, Ohio, with her husband and two dogs. She loves traveling, and spending time at Lake Erie in the summers on the water, and fishing with her family.  She enjoys cooking, crocheting and reading in her past time. Joann loves meeting new people and sharing her love of music.
