An Event NOT to Attend! The Richland Academy of the Arts Non-Event Fundraiser

June 22, 2021

Mansfield, OH - Join in on the fun during this year’s Richland Academy of the Arts Non-Event Fundraiser, Presented by Park National Bank. For the first time ever, Richland Academy is hosting a virtual Non-Event Fundraiser where individuals can bid on items in a silent auction, make a donation for a chance to win a ‘door prize,’ or give for a chance to win a bottle of wine.  The best part is -- attendees never have to leave their home to participate.

“The Richland Academy Of The Arts Board was in the situation most nonprofits and businesses found themselves in at the beginning of the year. We were hopeful for the future and events happening as usual, but we also felt the burn of constantly shifting and canceling plans over the previous 18 months,” says Jessica Hiser, Richland Academy Board Vice President. “The annual event is our largest fundraiser providing needed scholarships, we saw an increase in scholarship requests over the last year and could not table the event any longer. Instead, the idea was presented to have a non-event. A tongue and cheek to the fan-fair of most events, but not requiring anything of “attendees” other than a donation- best part, they can still win door prizes without even walking out their front door!”

To participate, individuals can visit or text ‘academy8224’ to 843.606.5995 to join the Non-Event. Bidding begins on June 14th and will culminate on the final giving day, June 26th.
