We raised over $11,000 BECAUSE OF YOU!
Richland Academy of the Arts has officially completed their first-ever Non-Event Fundraiser, Presented by Park National Bank. During this “event,” individuals could bid on items in a silent auction, make a donation for a chance to win a ‘door prize,’ or give for a chance to win a bottle of wine. The best part is -- attendees never had to leave their home to participate.
The Academy saw wild success with this fundraiser, raising a total of $11,620 to support their programs in dance, music, art, theatre, martial arts, and to further support their scholarship program awarding over $37,000 annually to students and families in the Mansfield and surrounding communities.
“We found ourselves needing to think outside of the box for this year’s auction fundraiser because of the time in which we live,” says Marianne Cooper, Executive Director at Richland Academy of the Arts. “The Chair of our Development Committee, Scott Heimann, introduced the non-event idea and we couldn’t be more thrilled about the support we received from the community.”
This event was made possible through the following sponsors: Presenting Sponsor, Park National Bank; Ohio Arts Council; WOB Accountants and Advisors; Hamilton Insurance Group Inc.; Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development; MG Energy; Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program; Richland Source; and Mid-State Multimedia Group. Richland Academy would like to thank their Board of Directors for their support: Jessica Dulle, Sue Guimaraes, Ed Gutchall, Brian Hamilton, Scott Heimann, Jim Henry, Tim Hilterman, Chris Hiner, Joann Hipsher, Jessica Hiser, Don Hoover, Jason Metzger, Jim Nicholson, Pat Olson, and Ashley Pifer. Special thanks goes to the Richland Academy Development Committee: Brian Hamilton, Scott Heimann, Jessica Hiser.
