Senior Keyboarding 

Begins 3/3/21  (13 Weeks)  Wednesdays 1:30-3:30 pm  Donation: $10

With Instructor: Diego Santamaria - We offer keyboarding classes for both beginner and intermediate students interested in learning to play, or polish their existing piano skills. In these classes students will learn keyboarding skill, popular music styles, and sequencing. All new students should register for the beginner class and will be placed in the intermediate class upon a skills evaluation by the instructor.

Senior Technology: Learning Facebook, Zoom, Instagram and More!

Drop-in class!   Tuesdays 11:00 am-12:00 pm   Donation: $10

With Instructor: Alli Lange - Did you know that using social media outlets like Facebook and Zoom can keep your mind younger? Research shows that maintaining connection with family and friends helps you stay happier, healthier, and younger! Join Alli in this workshop to learn how to stay connected with others through technology. Participants must bring an iPhone, Android, iPad, or Laptop. Each class will focus on what each students wants to learn!

Senior Guitar/Ukulele

Begins 3/2/21  (13 Weeks)  Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 pm  Donation: $10

With Instructor: Diego Santamaria - Join us in this 14-week journey to learn the basics of playing the guitar! Each student will receive one-on-one instruction while they learn how to read music, work with melodies, play chords, and eventually play popular music styles! There will be a required book to purchase for this class.

Senior University

3/3/21-5/5/21 (10 Weeks)   Wednesdays 12:00-1:00 pm   Donation: $10

With Instructor: Kelby King - It’s never too late to go back to school! This free, fun and educational class touches on the lighter side of learning and covers subjects you never thought about or knew. Whether you “travel” coast to coast, learn the origin of popular phrases, or dive deep into facts that will leave you speechless, senior students will stimulate their minds and enjoy activities and learning in a social environment.

Alternate Mediums

2/26 - 6/18/21 (16 Weeks)  Fridays 11:00-1:00 pm   Donation: $15

With Instructor: Ryan Failor - Are you ready for a new hobby or just want to try your hand at something new? Come and explore your creative side with this beginner mixed media class! In this class, students will be introduced to different types of media and taught how to apply them effectively in a composition. Sharpen your art making skills and broaden your knowledge of the structure of visual aesthetics.

STRUT Your Stuff I (Tap)

Dates TBA    Mondays 10:30-12:00 pm

With Instructor: Linda Elgin - This class is closed to new members.

STRUT Your Stuff II (Tap)

Thursdays 2:30-3:30 pm

With Instructor: Erin Wolford - This class is for the beginner tap dancer! This group is a cohesive tap group that has tappers of all skill levels and is structured in a way that allows for new skills and routines to be learned in a fun and supportive environment. if you're looking for a way to enjoy the art of tap dance with no pressure to perform outside of the studio, then this is the class for you!
