In this class, students will work on creating an ensemble, understanding movement and space, character development, utilizing voice, listening/reacting, and stage directions with blocking.

Little Black Box Theatre: Act II - Ages 7-10

The Show Must Go On! Join Megan in this class for an introduction to theatre to learn and explore an exciting musical about friendship and belonging.

"To Be or Not To Be" - Finding and Perfecting Your Monologue - Ages 10-14

Begins June 15th (6 Weeks)   Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 pm     Tuition: $47/month      Materials Fee: $10

In this class, Miss Audrey will help students pick out a monologue that caters to their needs, age, skills, and desired style. Monologues will be 45 seconds to 1 minute long. Students will practice monologues in small groups and work on emoting and transferring meaning from the words to the stage. By the end of the class, students will perform monologues on stage!

Stage Makeup Workshop - Ages 10-18

July 13 & 14  4:00-4:45 pm     Tuition: $40/full      

Learn the basics of stage makeup from application to what kinds you need! Clean sponges, q-tips, and face wipes will be provided. Each student needs to bring their own makeup.

Junior Theatre Camp - Ages 8-12

Mon.-Fri. 12:00-2:00 pm, Begins July 12th

Instructor: Maria Getz Beery

Tuition: $53.33/month  $10 Materials Fee

Students in this class will explore the basics of performance through movement, vocalization, and creative expression. Students will focus on building confidence through activities such as improvisation, storytelling, and pantomime while also learning the ins and outs of play production and the rehearsal process. Through ensemble building work, participants will rehearse and perform a short youth theatre play that will be presented at the end of class.

Teen Acting Institute - Ages 13-18

Mon.-Fri. 12:00-2:00 pm, Begins July 12th (3 Wks)

Instructor: Maria Getz Beery

Tuition: $53.33/month  $25 Materials Fee

Students will engage in an in-depth study of acting techniques and performance through script analysis, scene work, and various acting methods. Along the way, students will learn the basics of creating a character by using movement, voice, and expression. Through partnering and individual work, students will be encouraged to take creative risks and make strong choices. The class will culminate in a performance of one-act plays using the techniques and skills learned in class.

Academy Children's Theatre (ACTS) - Ages 13-18

Mon.-Fri. 10:00-12:00 pm, Begins July 12th, 4 Weeks

Instructor: Maria Getz Beery

Tuition: $70/month  $25 Materials Fee

This audition-only class will focus on the production of a short children's theatre musical while emphasizing the dynamics of ensemble building along with the rehearsal process. Students will hone their skills in acting, singing, choreography, and character development while also gaining an appreciation of theatre as a collaborative art form.

Camp Shakespeare - Ages 13-18

Mon.-Fri. 10:00-12:00 pm, Begins July 12th, 4 Weeks

Instructor: Maria Getz Beery

Tuition: $53.33/month  $25 Materials Fee

Students in this class will explore the world of William Shakespeare and classical acting through learning about the Bard himself, examining some of his most famous characters and plays, and diving into the beauty and challenges of the language. Through acting techniques and scene analysis work, students will build confidence in text interpretation and classical acting skills. The class will culminate in a performance of Shakespearean scenes and monologues.
