 Little Black Box Theatre: Act I - Ages 4-6 - CANCELLED

Saturdays 10:30-11:15 am, 6 Weeks, 6/26-8/7/21

Instructor: Megan Williams   Tuition: $56/full    Materials Fee: $10

In this class, students will work on creating an ensemble, understanding movement and space, character development, utilizing voice, listening/reacting, and stage directions with blocking.

Little Black Box Theatre: Act II - Ages 7-10

Saturdays 10:30-11:15 pm, 6 Weeks, 6/26-8/7/21 - NEW TIME

Instructor: Megan Williams    Tuition: $56/full    Materials Fee: $10

The Show Must Go On! Join Megan in this class for an introduction to theatre to learn and explore an exciting musical about friendship and belonging.

"To Be or Not To Be" - Finding and Perfecting Your Monologue - Ages 10-14

Begins July 12th (6 Weeks)  Mondays 3:00-4:00   Tuition: $47/month    Materials Fee: $10

In this class, Miss Audrey will help students pick out a monologue that caters to their needs, age, skills, and desired style. Monologues will be 45 seconds to 1 minute long. Students will practice monologues in small groups and work on emoting and transferring meaning from the words to the stage. By the end of the class, students will perform monologues on stage!

Stage Makeup Workshop - Ages 10-18

July 13 & 14  4:00-4:45 pm     Tuition: $40/full      

Learn the basics of stage makeup from application to what kinds you need! Clean sponges, q-tips, and face wipes will be provided. Each student needs to bring their own makeup.

Junior Theatre Camp - Ages 8-12

Mon.-Fri. 12:00-2:00 pm, Begins July 12th (3 Wks)

Instructor: Maria Getz Beery

Tuition: $53.33/month  $10 Materials Fee

Students in this class will explore the basics of performance through movement, vocalization, and creative expression. Students will focus on building confidence through activities such as improvisation, storytelling, and pantomime while also learning the ins and outs of play production and the rehearsal process. Through ensemble building work, participants will rehearse and perform a short youth theatre play that will be presented at the end of class.
