Richland Gives 2021

Richland Academy of the Arts is celebrating 30 Years in business this year! We are celebrating the past and looking to the future! Can you believe it? Since our beginning in 1991, our story has always been about serving our community. Over the last 30 years, Richland Academy has...

- Awarded over $682,000 in Tuition Assistance and Scholarships to families.

- Served students and families across North Central Ohio through over 35,000 registrations in classes over the last 10 years.

- Offered over 500 unique arts opportunities in-house through classes, workshops, camps, private lessons, ensembles and performances.

We simply could not have done any of this without the support we receive from our community. That's why we want to invite you to celebrate our 30 Years with us! Richland Gives, the annual #DayofGiving, is approaching soon! Please give $30 or $300 for 30 More Years and help us continue to provide quality arts education and performances to the students we serve and the community!

Help us reach our $30,000 goal by giving between November 15th and November 30th!

Your donation to Richland Academy is more than a one-time donation. Your gift will make a lasting impact in the lives of students for the next 30 Years. Give $30 or $300 for 30 Years! Your support gives the opportunity for education, inspiration, and value to students of all ages.

What Others Have To Say

"Richland Academy of the Arts is so fortunate to have had such wonderful community support all these years. When “I wish upon a star” for the Academy’s next 30 years, I see a beautiful galaxy filled with a million twinkling lights, each one spreading joy throughout the community."

- Marianne Cooper / Executive Director

"Richland Academy of the Arts has had a profound impact on my life, not only as a teacher, but as a member of the community. I’m so grateful not only for the opportunity to teach dance, but to build relationships with my students and to be a part of their lives, as they are part of mine. I was married this year and a significant portion of the guest list included the staff and students of Richland Academy. We are a family, and at a time when you wish to be surrounded by the people you love, this place and these people surrounded me. That is what the ARTS can do!"

- Erin Wolford / Dance and Musical Theatre Instructor

"I believe the students get one on one attention and I go deeper into the music and arts at Richland Academy. The students in the community that don’t have the resources have the option to receive financial assistance which is good for the community. At Richland Academy I teach piano, guitar, and ukulele. This has impacted me in a way that my teaching style has improved and expanded. Before in Costa Rica I didn’t have the opportunity to teach in English or have such a broad range of ages. For me it is a great opportunity to keep teaching what I had learned in my country and build relationships with family and students in the area. I have gotten to know Latino families in the community that want to learn their instrument in Spanish. I am thankful for the opportunity that I have to impact lives through music and for the beautiful building that we have at Richland Academy. I am excited to see more people coming to our place and see their dreams to learn an instrument come true."

 - Diego Santamaria / Guitar, Ukulele, and Piano Instructor

"RAA encourages every person, with any age and skill level, to find joy in the journey— whether it be through dance, music, theatre, or other artistic endeavors."

- Alicia Porter / Piano Instructor

"The root of our mission, like many other nonprofit organizations, is to serve our community. Supporting nonprofit organizations through campaigns like Richland Gives allows us to serve our community to the highest degree, making a lasting impact on all who participate in our programs for the rest of their lives."

- Alli Lange / Voice and Piano Instructor, Marketing and Media

You Can Make A Difference

Richland Academy offers a variety of financial support options for students. While some of our scholarships are awarded merit-based, most of our scholarships are need-based. This is where donations made to The Richland Academy of the Arts Tuition Assistance Fund are important.

We would be happy to apply your donation to wherever you feel it will make the biggest impact!
